From January to December 2020, the SESNSP has registered 10,704 cases of women victims of crimes between 0 and 17 years of age. This figure is lower than that registered in 2019 to the same date (11,957 cases), however, 2019 had been the year with the most crimes registered against women aged 0 to 17 since 2015. Registries had decreased significantly from the date on which the National Healthy Distance Day began (March 23); However, from May to September, crimes against women aged 0 to 17 increased, particularly corruption of minors (1,270 cases in 2020), extortion (103 cases in 2020), injuries (4,162 cases in 2020), kidnapping (108 cases in 2020) and human trafficking (203 cases in 2020). In total, 65,640 crimes against women aged 0-17 have been registered from January 2015 to February 2021; women are more affected by the crimes of femicide, kidnapping, human trafficking and corruption of minors.
