Challenges in protecting the rights of migrant children on the northern border of Mexico.
The general objective of this essay is to show the different populations of girls, boys and adolescents in migration situations that converge on the northern border of Mexico and to provide elements of analysis on the fulfillment of the obligations of the Mexican State to guarantee their rights. While the document presents important advances in the development of regulations for the protection of children in migration contexts in Mexico, it also shows the limited access to rights for this population. In this sense, it provides a series of recommendations so that every girl, boy and adolescent in migration contexts in Mexico can enjoy their rights.
